Vojensky opravarensky podnik Trencin is fully aware of and takes responsibility for the impact of its operations on both the environment within the company and global environment and is committed to reduce it by all means available.

The key points of the Vojensky opravarensky podnik environmental protection strategy:

1. Compliance with all relevant legislation, policy papers and procedures related to the environmental protection.
2. Regular training and education of the staff and employees and their enlistment in the environmental activities.
3. Active implementation and promotion of the recycling program internally and amongst our customers.
4. Provision of sources for renovation and modernisation of the means for protection of water sources, waste removal and reduction of emissions.
5. Maintenance and modernisation of the production tools and working environment leading to the reduction of harmful impact on the environment.

Environmental protection strategy is included in the company’s regular planning process with intention to achieve ISO 14001 certification in the future.
